Child Life Track Base Camp

Child Life Track Base Camp

An interprofessional, simulation-based training program in pediatric emergency medicine for physicians, nurses, and child life specialists. Through pre-learning modules, simulations, and debriefs, child life specialists will work alongside physicians and nurses to develop their skills in teamwork, patient/family communication, and mass casualty readiness. Base Camp provides 16 hours of continuing education and will be held at Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan on November 10-11, 2018.

More information and to register, please visit http://pembasecamp.org/. Volunteer opportunities (and a chance to observe the program in action!) are also available for child life students.
